🌿✨ Whittling, Wood-craft & Folklore ✨🌿   🔥Bushcraft with Huw is back this Summer 16th August 🔥   There is something deeply satisfying about sitting in the woods, taking a raw piece of branches, and turning it into something beautiful and functional with your own two hands.   🔨 We are so excited to welcome back the brilliant Huw for his annual Bushcraft Workshop! His sessions sell out completely every single year, and this August, he’s teaching the beautiful art of whistle making.   🌳Using local elder and cherrywood, you (and your kids!) will learn how to safely use knives and hand tools to carve, hollow, and decorate your own whistle. Along the way, Huw will share the fascinating folklore and mystical history surrounding these incredible ancient trees.   It’s the perfect experience to share,or a brilliant creative morning for adults who want to learn a new skill in a peaceful setting.   Note: We keep these groups tiny (max 8 people) so everyone gets proper guidance. Join us for three days of creative, nature-inspired workshops with Fi, Forest School Leader, and Emily, Artist. Each day features two different hands-on workshops, with children welcome to book either a morning or afternoon workshop or stay for the whole day. **Monday 10th August** - Morning: Slime & Small World Adventures – with Fi - Afternoon: Headdress & Mask Making – with Emily **Tuesday 11th August** - Morning: Magical Nature Potions – with Fi - Afternoon: Natural Dye Creations – with Emily **Wednesday 12th August** - Morning: Woodland Herb Detectives – with Fi - Afternoon: Nature Jewellery Making – with Emily **Meet Your Workshop Leaders** Fi is a Forest School Leader who loves creating playful, sensory experiences that encourage children to explore, experiment and connect with nature. Her workshops combine creativity, simple science and imaginative play in a relaxed outdoor setting. Emily is an artist, costume maker and creative designer who creates her own headdresses, clothing and festival props. She loves inspiring children to express themselves through art, using natural materials and imaginative making to create beautiful, unique pieces. Together, Fi and Emily have been delivering creative children's workshops at Roots during Tonnau Festival for the past two years. They love combining nature, art and sensory play to create welcoming, engaging experiences where children can explore, create and build confidence in the outdoors.
